–Mr. Loring A. Chase, who is often seen about the building, has had quite a unique career since leaving the university. He was a student along in the ’60’s, and in his under-graduate days he was an ardent Philadelphian, winning laurels as a representative of that society in contest debate.  Some time after leaving the university he with other men founded the town of Winter Park, Fla., which developed into a delightful winter resort. From the investments there Mr. Chase realized a snug fortune, and about five years ago retired from active business, and since then devoted himself to study and travel in Europe and America. At present his is the guest of President Cook, and is prosecuting certain psychological researches.
